And then there were none by Agatha Christie

This is a masterpiece, and perhaps the best book by Agatha Christie. It will have you fully absorbed by Page number 50 and will do so till you finish the book. I would call it a thriller and a mystery, I could not figure out who is the culprit till the last two pages, it's it's that good. I would definitely recommend this to you as this is a thin book, you will finish it in like 4 days.

Synopsis: 'When ten people are invited to Soldier Island by a mysterious character, U. N. Owen, the guests find themselves in a dangerous situation as they watch each other get picked off one by one according to an old nursery rhyme.' from the back cover of my paperback version. I won't tell you more, read it for yourself because it's really good.
