Delhi is Not Far by Ruskin Bond
This book has so much in common with room on the roof and vagrants in the valley that it ends up being ridiculously boring and predictable. This book is barely 95 pages long, and the story does not have anything special happening. I concluded after this that Mr. Ruskin Bond is the best in short stories but not that great in novels.
Go for it if someone puts a gun against your head and asks you to read it.

Don't worry Mr. Bond, you are the greatest short story writer alive in India.
